How to Make Ranch Dip: Easy

I love, love, love ranch dip! I wanted to learn how to make ranch dip without mayo and without a bunch of fresh herbs because sometimes I just want to whip it up really quickly for an easy snack. Don't get me wrong, fresh herbs are the business! But, I don't always have them on hand. I am in between homes right now, so I have no herb garden either. I wanted to create a recipe where the only thi...

    @Heather Le Gaux, I wanted to explain why your issues were resolved on a carnivore diet, although I personally recommend a ketogenic diet due to the extensive research available on its long-term effects compared to the lack of similar studies for the carnivore diet. The human body naturally contains only 4-5 grams of glucose; exceeding this amount can be toxic to all body systems, including veins, blood vessels, and the brain. If your pancreas fails to function properly and release insulin to reduce glucose levels, you could suffer a stroke, fall into a coma, and potentially die. It is crucial to educate people not to fear protein and fat but to be cautious of foods that spike insulin levels. Consistent consumption of such foods can lead to various diseases long before a diabetes diagnosis. We often observe glucose-related damage in the eyes and arteries up to a decade before diagnosing diabetes or insulin resistance. The human body and metabolism are designed to process animal protein and fat, not large amounts of carbohydrates, except for non-starchy green vegetables. For example, one slice of bread alone could contain 25 grams of carbohydrates, which is five times the normal amount of glucose in the human body. An average McDonald's small meal could contain 100 grams or more, illustrating the potential damage to the human body. While very young and athletic individuals can dispose of more glucose, any carbohydrates that are not burned by the muscles within two hours will be stored as glycogen. Once glycogen stores are full, excess glucose is stored as fat.

    Does it work to add back in certain food groups that are similar at the same time? For example, cruciferous veggies? Being that there are hundreds of foods, it seems daunting to add back in just 1 food a week.

    • @HeatherLeGaux
      @HeatherLeGaux 5 місяців тому

      Excellent question. I think the more detailed you are the better. So trying cruciferous veggies vs just bringing back all vegetables would be better. But for the record, I wouldn't start there as those are not foods that want to be eaten. After bringing back dairy and eggs (if you eliminated them), I would start with fruit, but very little.

    Hi. Just found your channel. Loved your video. I'm about to start my 5th month on carnivore. I started because my glucose management on Keto wasn't working anymore. Praise God it went from over 300 to yesterday it was 109. I have been able to start losing weight...prior to carnivore, no. I know it was because of my high glucose. Day 1 a started to lose. I've gone from 226 when I started to 205. I'm excited. This way of eating is so simple, yet so satisfying. Look forward to more of your videos. I also had extreme fatigue, but I have more energy but not like I had prior to cancer. I am working out at the gym 3 days a week now for almost 2 months. I can feel my body beginning to show changes. I am happy for you and your 12 success accomplishments. Blessings!

    You are adorable!!! My story is pretty similar to yours; carnivore for a year and a half, and loving it! Better teeth, hair, focus, digestive health, muscular integrity, major spiritual awakening, and way more calm and even-keeled. Better in so many ways. Very stubborn fat loss, due to 65 years of breaking my metabolism over and over and over from eating carbs, sugar, low or no fat, and avoiding red meat. So dumb!!! I know now that this should have been my diet all along. Thank you sooooo much for sharing your story and your honesty. Subscribed!

    I am not eating carnivore to lose weight. I am 70 years old, and I have a lot of “those” medical issues - HBP and cholesterol that was high enough to require a statin. I have arthritis in my neck and spine. I’ve had spinal surgery in my neck and lumbar area. I have been in some type of pain in my back, neck, and head for SO long. It isn’t debilitating, but it’s distressing because Tylenol and stronger pain meds just don’t help. Those are the reasons that I am doing carnivore. I’ve only been eating this way for two weeks…beef, bacon, butter, eggs, and I’m going to add chicken thighs and legs for variety. So far, I’ve lost 6lbs, my gastric issues are greatly improving, the pain in my neck is easing a bit. My BP is fine…I’m hoping it will improve to where I don’t need meds. I won’t know about my cholesterol until I have blood work done in Feb 2024. I hope to be able to sleep more deeply eventually. I feel better, but I really am looking forward to my health improving drastically. I love these videos because they, and the comments give me so much help and hope! Oh yeah, I’m also hoping for my allergies to improve where I no longer have headaches every day.

    You look vibrant and I'm so amazed at the results you're getting from the carnivore diet and the many benefits that people are getting on the diet many of which you have mentioned even mental issues just doing the carnivore. I myself have been carnivore mostly for 2 months and lost about 20 or 30lbs. I want to get to 180lbs. I'm now at 214lbs now. I want to get off all my medications, 4 now, 2 for high blood pressure and a statin and an aspirin. That's my goal. I plan on staying on carnivore because it's so simple.

    I have been Carnivore for 4 months and the only thing I've noticed is that I feel less bloated. My hair is still thin, nails are peeling and still fatigued. Maybe I am an anomaly but no benefits for me. I also live in Arizona in the East Valley and it's 110 now at the end of June and sweating like crazy. I'm kind of bummed that I'm not getting other benefits.

      @HeatherLeGaux Рік тому

      Yes it is crazy hot here right now! I'm sorry to hear that you aren't seeing additional benefits. My initial thoughts are, are you eating enough food, enough fat, drinking enough water and getting electrolytes? It might just be a matter of some tweaks here and there, but although carnivore can be amazing for many people, there is no one size fits all.

    All carnivores should start going to the doctors and educating them about this way of eating and living, asking them to study our blood results and documenting our health improvements. I also noticed this interesting fact that after workout I don't feel sore almost at all anymore. Before, each time I resumed working out after a period of slacking, I would be struggling to move my limbs without pain next day. When I started training on this diet I was very cautious about overtraining but I was surprised I didn't get usual soreness. So I keep pushing with heavier weights and still hardly any soreness. This diet seems to be for life. I am convinced
